Contrary to earlier erroneous reports of his demise, his wife Nadine Streak confirmed his passing via a heartfelt Facebook post on Sunday. In her emotional message, she revealed that Heath had departed peacefully in the early hours of September 3, 2023, at their family home in Matabeleland, surrounded by loved ones.

Nadine Streak expressed her profound love and gratitude for her husband, stating that he had been “covered in love and peace” as he embarked on his final journey. The cricketing community also mourns the loss, with former Zimbabwe international John Rennie sharing the sad news and noting that Heath Streak’s enduring battle with cancer had come to a serene end.
