India vs Australia 3rd ODI | (ANI)

Australia secured a consolation victory, ending their five-match losing streak in ODIs, just before the upcoming World Cup. Australia posted 352 runs on the board in the first innings after Pat Cummings won the toss and opted to bat first. India failed to chase their target of 353 getting bowled out for 286. India initially looked promising in their chase with Rohit Sharma’s aggressive stance, but it was the unexpected offbreaks from Maxwell that turned the tide. Maxwell’s four-wicket haul disrupted India’s pursuit. Australia’s exceptional fielding and catching, especially by Marnus Labuschagne in the deep, thwarted big hits. Their clever use of slower balls on a slowing pitch made the difference. Despite notable contributions from Rohit, Kohli, and Shreyas, they couldn’t capitalize, ultimately proving costly.

Shubman Gill is the Player of the Series for his excellent showing with the bat in the first two games
Glenn Maxwell (4/40) is the Player of the Match for his brilliant bowling performance.
