National Foundation for India- campaign on SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT GOALS held in Kokila, Bongaigaon, Assam


National Foundation for India (NFI) held a campaign on SDG at Green Valley Academy Kokila in Bongaigaon, Assam on May 22. It was co-funded by European Union and hosted by AMAN Foundation.
The event was incorporated with outreach activity and the launching of the website it was attended by 77 students of class 12 from Green Valley Academy Kokila, Bongaigaon along with seven teachers.
The aim is to ensure that everyone can understand what SDG is and know our project website and get knowledge more about SDG’s Goals and activities.

Mr. Shafiul Hassan, FC NFI & Founder, AMAN Foundation spoke on SDG awareness and how as a youth can contribute towards sustainable development. She emphasized mainly goals such as no poverty, quality education, gender equality and peace, justice, and strong institutions.
Rofiqul Islam, a journalist spoke on career choices focusing mainly on setting the right goals for the students for their future careers. Encouraging the students to be passionate about what they want to do in the future, he said, “Our problem is we don’t know who we are before deciding who we are wanted to be.
