Bollywood’s beloved Badshah, Shah Rukh Khan, has struck gold once again with his highly anticipated action thriller, ‘Jawan,’ which has rewritten history on its opening day. Released in theaters on September 7, ‘Jawan’ has notched up an extraordinary feat by becoming the first Hindi film to achieve the highest-ever opening day collection.

According to industry tracker Sacnilk.com, ‘Jawan’ raked in a staggering Rs 75 crore in net collections domestically on its debut day, with Rs 65 crore from Hindi screenings and Rs 5 crore each from Tamil and Telugu versions. This groundbreaking performance now positions ‘Jawan’ as the highest-opening day grosser in the history of Hindi cinema, surpassing even Shah Rukh Khan’s previous hit ‘Pathaan.’

Renowned movie critic and analyst Taran Adarsh reported the film’s exceptional performance at national chain cinemas, where ‘Jawan’ sold a remarkable 557,000 tickets, outperforming ‘Pathaan.’

Kamal Gianchandani, President of the Multiplex Association of India, suggests that ‘Jawan’ has the potential to reach the elusive Rs 600 crore milestone, a record untouched by any other Hindi film. The film addresses critical societal issues and is presented by Red Chillies Entertainment, produced by Gauri Khan, and co-produced by Gaurav Verma.

With a star-studded cast featuring Shah Rukh Khan, Vijay Sethupathi, Nayanthara, and a cameo by Deepika Padukone, ‘Jawan’ is set to continue its triumphant journey at the box office. Don’t miss this action-packed thriller that is making waves in Bollywood!
